Help a South African School Competition 2020 Ts&Cs

  1. The competition is open to all school children in the UK in years 1-6 only
  2. Closing date for art entry is Friday 29th May 2020
  3. Only original art will be accepted
  4. Entries received without an entry form will be classed as invalid
  5. The winner will receive a cheque for £1,000 and a ‘Gastronaut Live’ show by BBC presenter, Stefan Gates. The cheque will be made payable to the school
  6. We will arrange the prize giving ceremony to take place in your school before the end of the year
  7. Certificates will be sent to all schools from which we have received a valid entry at the end of the competition
  8. The prizes will be awarded to the entries that have, in the judges’ opinion, submitted the most relevant and original pieces of art and who have therefore received the highest score
  9. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
  10. The final judging will take place no later than the 2nd week in June 2020 by a panel including at least one independent member. To obtain details of the judges, winners and results send an email to Valentina@redcomm.co.uk
  11. The winning schools will be notified no later than Friday 3rd July 2020
  12. The winning schools must agree to take part in advertising and any relevant public relations exercise undertaken by the promoter: Hortgro, 258 Main Road, PO Box 163, Paarl, 7622, South Africa. Do not send entries to this address.
